I've tried painting plexiglass with chrome paint to get a mirror effect but can't get it to reflect well and provide the ';mirror'; effect. I don't expect it to be exaclty like a glass mirror but would like to get it somewhat close. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. How can I make a mirror using spray paint on plexiglass?
Adhesive backed, reflective Mylar would work. You apply it like contact paper. Sorry, I don't know where it is available. You'll have to do the old web search thing. How can I make a mirror using spray paint on plexiglass?
no won't work just buy a mirror at a thrift store
I dont think it will work. What I can suggest is to use those tape on style roll on mirror like solar shades that you put on your windshield, home or office windows. They are flexible and strong, and you can see through it. Does that help?

Good Luck and Best Wishes!
There is no way you can do that, it wouldn't turn out right, sorry, you'll need to buy a mirror, unless you tried some of that silver paint for background and glass color paint they sell, but don't count on it coming out good.
