What is the difference between HVLP and LVLP auto spray paint guns?

I am going to spray paint an automotive urethane paint on my 20 year old bass boat that has a badly degraded gel coat finish. Should I use a HVLP or a LVLP spray gun? And what is the difference between the two?What is the difference between HVLP and LVLP auto spray paint guns?
hvlp--is high volume low pressure gravity feed

lvlp--is low volume low pressure--has suction feed
