How do you remove spray paint from plastic?

Without destroying the underlying finish of the plastic? How do you remove spray paint from plastic?
You can try some nail polish...or maybe some acetone..though they are basically the same thing...once done applying the acetone or nail polish on..let it sit for a little bit...then get a rag and wipe all the junk off.I'm really not sure if this will destroy the underlying or not...sorry.Hope I helped you.

I have used Goo Gone or Goof Off and never been disappointed. I bought a bottle in the Dollar Store not too long ago. I cannot be without it. WD 40 will do the same thing but has an odor which must be washed off.

Nail polish remover should work too but may be damaging.

If anything does remove the shiny finish, you can use a car polish to make it shiny again.

Hope this helps.
if it is acrylic paint, just use a cloth and dish soap. if it is oil based, best to confer with a paint seller
