I am doing a science fair experiment and I spray painted my board. I am going to use rubber cement to glue stuff to my board. How long should I wait? It is 20 degrees outside. How long does spray paint take to dry?
I would give it at least an hour to two hours just to make sure, because a lot depends on the surface you sprayed on (plywood, for example, might seem 'dry' to the touch, but because of the grain in the wood, it's not truly dry as far as adhering stuff to it is concerned). While you wait, you can work on preparing the parts of the project that will be glued on to make the best use of your time.
Good luck on your project! How long does spray paint take to dry?
it's dry ... go finish your project
it will dry very fast! depends on how much you spray...but optimally few minutes.
better do it outside, because the gasses is relieses are not the best for your lungs.
