How do you get spray paint off a refrigerator?

So some kids broke into my house this weekend and spraypainted several walls in the house. They also spraypainted the refrigerator. We are hoping to salvage it by cleaning the spray paint off. (They didn't use appliance paint on it). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Insurance, of course, is not covering any of the damage. How do you get spray paint off a refrigerator?
use ';goof off'; or some other paint remover, you can find them at any hardware storeHow do you get spray paint off a refrigerator?
It may sound crazy but you could try using some carburetor/Chock cleaner and see if it will break it loose, if not paint stripper, and unfortunately it will also remove the appliance paint.
mek laquer thinner or buy graffiti remover from ici glidden dulux paints
use a thing called oops
goof off...home depot 2.oo
Oh I would hate to be the one to clean did you read instructions on the can go to internet and see what you can find out- I feel bad that happened-
There are company's that refinish appliances.check your phone book.they can pick up your fridge repaint it and re deliver back to your house.Probley cost you under $200.00 and the paint is the same as what the origanal is and it will look like new again.
Whoa! Hold up with the soft scrub and the choke cleaner! First, what kind of finish is on the fridge? Is it stainless steel or gloss white or black or textured (orange peel) white or black? Elmer's makes a paint remover (in a small bottle like the Goof-Off stuff) that is citris based and it won't harm the finish on the fridge. It really woorks, too. I have used it on many things. DO NOT use a green scrubbie, it will dull the finish in those spots (especially if it is a glossy finish or stainless steel). Same goes with the soft scrub, it contains silica which is a fine grit. If it is the textured finish you will have to use a small brush to really get it out of the crevases. Again, DO NOT USE goof-off, choke / carb cleaner or any other ';solvent'; based stuff.
two ways, first try soft scrub, use the green side of a kitchen sponge and scrub in small circles, if that doesn't cut it, try gasoline, a small amount on a cloth rag, again, scrub in small circles, if this gets it, throw the rag away when it starts to smear, take an old towel and cut it up into small pieces, this should do it.
