Can I spray paint glass, then have it submerged in my fishbowl, and paint wont come off?

or what do you suggest, if not spray paint... I want to paint this glass bowl, to put inside my glass bvowl, so that the fish has a hiding spotCan I spray paint glass, then have it submerged in my fishbowl, and paint wont come off?
DON'T use regular paint at all. The chemicals will leach out into the water and kill the fish.

There is such a thing as dishwasher-safe and food-safe glass paint, from an art supply or really good craft store. You generally bake the piece once you have painted it.

HOWEVER -- I would not do this with fish without clearing it with a fish expert. Fish are quite delicate when it comes to chemicals. When a company says food-safe, they aren't talking about constant exposure and they aren't talking about a nervous system the size of a peanut.

You might be better off taking a dark glass bottle and cutting it down with a glass cutter from the craft store. The color is part of the glass already. Wine, beer, milk of magnesia, something from the craft store all have good color. Can I spray paint glass, then have it submerged in my fishbowl, and paint wont come off?
try sprayin it and then coating it in a clear varnish.
