What spray paint should I use to paint my hockey stick?

I'm looking to paint my hockey stick I see many people doing it and I would like to give it a try. What are the steps I should take to spray paint my stick? What spray paint should I use? What spray paint should I use to paint my hockey stick?
Why paint your stick? Just to do something that everybody else does? Why not start smoking, or drinking, or better yet jumping off a bridge? Besides, painting it only adds weight, and chips and scratches off anyways.....

If you are going to do it anyways, use a lacquer based paint. That kind of paint seems more durable. What spray paint should I use to paint my hockey stick?
which is better to use...

car paint

or just straight up spray paint

use flat black paint any brand. dont do the blade, because when you are skating it makes the stick feel wierd and rough on the ice (from my experience using my friend's SE16 in practice)

Notes:

-I dont encourage painting sticks

-I dont paint my sticks

-The new Nike Bauer one95 is supposed to look like someone spraypainted it FYI to the people who say why would anyone do this.
First spray painting the stick will void any warrenty if there is one left. Second are you doing this just to be cool? Do you even know the reason why the people even black out there stick? Do you play roller or ice? Any paint will work all will eventually transfer to the palm of your glove.
just so you all know. when pro players paint there sticks there doing it to prevent glare. not for looks or ghetto people
If your painting the entire stick go black but if your only dipping the blade and low shaft go white. Use any brand. I also agree with piston gold tape would be soooo kool but still black or a whit dip would look nice.
Piston beat me to it. Gold is the way to go on this one. Gof get some 24K gold paint and make that bad boy SHINE! White or black tape will look good with it.
Flat black in any brand will do.
I'd have to agree with hockeynut. What's the point of spray-painting your stick?! Go all natural dude!
Go gold dude. my friend did it and it looks sweet
