I have some old rolls of wire in garage and decided to put it to good use. I'm stringing used milk juice cartons and pouches normally put in trash or recycle bins. I want to make Ever ';Green'; wreathes out of them once there is enough on the string. The next step is coloring them. How can I do this simple without an expensive paint sprayer. What is a good alternative for spray paint?
How about regular paint. You can go to any local paint shop (Sherwin-Williams) and ask for ';mistints';. Most of the time you will not be charged not than $5 a gallon. They typically have mutable colors and if you choice to take a few gallons of there hands they may even give them to you for free. I gallon of paint will cover at least 50 plastic milk jugs. Try to use exterior paint it will stick better to the plastic and last longer outdoors. Also by using the mis-tinted paint your helping recycle unusable good. Good Luck! What is a good alternative for spray paint?
I applaude your intentions but this sounds super ugly! I hope you aren't giving them as homemade 'gifts' this xmas!?
