I have a 95 purple Hyundai excel and the paint on the roof and bonnet is peeling off. I was thinking about sanding it off and spray painting it black. What is the best way to do this step by step myself, as I am not going to pay anyone to do this because the car is not worth it.

if its peeling you got to strip the paint or it always peel!! you need a air sander with 80grit sandpaper to strip,and primer after that.u will kill yourself doing this by hand!!dont even think u about it.you know macco is very cheap?they have specials like$250 paint jobs.
