How do you get spray paint off eye glasses?

I used water-based spray paint on a windy day and some of it got stuck on my eye glasses. I don't want to scrape it off with a blade in fear of scratching my lenses. Anybody know of a solution that I can use to wipe it off?How do you get spray paint off eye glasses?
no, don't use paint thinner that is for oil based paint. If it is water based paint first try putting in a bowl of warm water for a while , then wipe with a wash cloth . See if that removes the paint. If it doesn't go to a paint store or Walmart in the paint dept. and get a small can of Goof OFF It is in a can like lighter fluid it is to remove water based paint drips when you are painting. Water based paint should soften with dish washing soap %26amp; warm water. Mix a bowl of it %26amp; put your glasses in it. After 15 minutes rub them underwater with your fingers. That will remove the paint. Rinse %26amp; dry and you are good to go.

You could also use a new, straight edge razor.
use the Goof-off from depot its like 5.00 bucks and dab on with a rag then wipe off then buff with a soft cloth or lens paper ... a painter ,,26 yrs ,,, an olde dude
If it's not extremely bad it should come off with rubbing alcohol.
you can use fingernail polish remover . or paint thinner might work . try soaking them in hot soapy water . if that don't work get a new pair of glasses.
