Can I spray paint my old green artificial christmas tree white?

Has anyone ever tried this before and how did it work out?Can I spray paint my old green artificial christmas tree white?
would take 4 cases of spray just get a white oneCan I spray paint my old green artificial christmas tree white?
I have no idea why this is considered the best answer for this question...a whole case of spray paint still comes in waaayyy under the insane prices that they want for a brand new christmas tree...especially if you want it in an unusual color or with any sort of flocking.

When flocking/frosting first became popular in the 1960's and 1970's, that is how the look was achieved. In today's age though, with all of the improvements that have been done with the artificial flocked trees, it will not look anywhere near as good as if you just purchase a new tree. Keep in mind also that even regular green artificial trees have improved drastically since when you purchased what you call your old tree. Flocked and frosted trees are currently on sale here: http://www.christmaslightsetc.com/Flocke鈥?/a>
um...im not sure that something like that would work, that would be a lot of hard work and lots of spray painting, you could spray it to make it look like snow but not the whole thing
